What is AEO and does Dockweiler have AEO status?
AEO is the abbreviation for Authorized Economic Operator.
Since 2011 AEO certificate DE AEOC 106909 has given us this status.
This ensures uniform application of customs procedures with easier and faster customs clearance throughout the European Union and no extensive re-inspections.
What is an EORI number and what is Dockweiler’s?
The EORI (Economic Operators' Registration and Identification) number is the successor to the customs number on the European level. It is used is to identify economic operators and facilitate automated customs clearance. Without a valid EORI number, customs activities are basically no longer possible in the EU.
Our EORI number is DE2580381.
What is delta ferrite content?
During the processing of stainless steel in thermal processes such as welding, material weaknesses resulting in undesirable corrosion effects occur. Such as the formation of delta ferrite. Target delta ferrite content should normally be 3%. Delta ferrite was limited in terms of susceptibility to corrosion and can be used to check weld quality.
What is orbital welding?
Orbital welding is a mechanical, gas-shielded arc welding process in which the arc is rotated around a tube or other round body in a continuous process.
What is PED?
The Pressure Equipment Directive. It lays down the requirements for pressure equipment placed on the market in the European Economic Area. For the purposes of this directive, tube systems with internal overpressure of over 0.5 bar are considered pressure equipment.
