EFFICIENCY IN TIGHT SPACES:
DOCKWEILER COLLARING METHOD
Optimal space management from short and closely spaced branches
The collaring of T-pieces, CIP lances or manifolds is long-established Dockweiler expertise. In combination with our welding expertise, closely spaced branches also are routine for our specialists. Our production specialties also include eccentric branches and branches with different angles of inclination (e.g. T-piece with 45 degree branches). Advantages come from flow optimization and compact design.
- Very homogeneous transition contour from main to branch tube
- Optimized flow behavior
- Optimum preparation for welding
- Minimization of dead space (e.g. in manifold production)
- Compact component geometry
Facts about collaring:
- Standard branch sizes from 12.7 mm to 168 mm
- Distance between branches of ≤ 1 cm is possible
- Various materials and diameters
- Eccentric and angled branches
- Made-to-order and small series production
- Special and cleverly devised collaring devices and tools
For many people it's high-tech, for me it's standard.
Collaring
From simple T-pieces to complex manifolds - the production of low dead space and flow-optimised customer solutions is one of our core competences. Due to decades of know-how and state-of-the-art machines, we are also able to collar very narrow, eccentric or 45° branches.
